Extended Virus Attacks on This Web Site Originating from Paknet and CONSULTTECH Customer(s)

Since the start of 2005, one or more customers of Paknet Limited (www.pak.net.pk), a provider of data and Internet services located in Islamabad, Pakistan, and of CONSULTTECH IP Blocks (www.consulttech.com.pk), a provider of IT consultant and Internet services located in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, has been sending repeated, contentless, virus-infected e-mail messages with phony subject lines (mostly regarding fictitious e-mail delivery issues) and phony "from" e-mail addresses to this web site's e-mail address.

Paknet owns the IP addresses in the range of 203.135.0.0 - 203.135.63.255 and has been contacted about these attacks but has not responded. CONSULTTECH IP Blocks owns the IP addresses in the range of 203.175.64.0 - 203.175.79.255, but they don't seem to have a web site that allows abuse reporting; www.consulttech.com.pk yields a generic Apache Web server "Test Page." As shown below, each of these e-mail messages originated from one of Paknet's or CONSULTTECH's IP addresses.

The dates and times shown for when the messages were received are in Greenwich Mean Time.
